Boston Public Library Wedding: Betsy + Andy
As I sat down to write this blog post I reread a questionnaire that I sent to Betsy and Andy before I even had an engagement session with them. I was both laughing out loud and tearing up at what they wrote about how they met, how they started dating, and what they thought about each other. They are funny and kind; and they challenge each other and take care of each other in the sweetest way. You can so obviously see their love in the way the hold and look at each other. While they are opposite in many things, they have just always seemed to work. And they decided to have a Disney’s “Up” themed wedding because they are truly each other’s greatest adventure!
The Boston Public Library was a gorgeous setting for their wedding – so much history, rich architecture and a beautiful courtyard. The girls wore a teal / peacock color and had “Up” themed charms on their bouquets. The details were all built around the movie as well with “Up” themed library cards as placecards, a picture with balloons as the guest book, and a mailbox as a card box. The flowers were colorful tulips which mimicked the balloons carrying the house up in “Up” and all the reception tables had pictures of Betsy and Andy when they were kids.
Here are just a few highlights of their gorgeous day!
