Boston Public Garden and Beacon Hill Engagement Session: Katherine + Douglas
It was totally freezing the day of this fall engagement session in Boston Public Garden and nearby Beacon Hill. I was dressed in multiple layers of clothing and my big winter jacket and still couldn’t warm myself up. So when I saw Katherine walk up in her skirt and no coat, I knew Katherine and Douglas came ready to rock their session. And they SO did! I think you can tell just from these images how warm and sweet these two are. Katherine and Douglas met about 7 years ago through a mutual friend. Douglas pulled off a surprise proposal at Katherine’s nurse pinning ceremony when she was finishing up her courses. Katherine is a little bit of a firecracker and full of sass, which is so much fun. And it’s so obvious how much Douglas totally adores her. I just love some of the pictures of them laughing together. I have a feeling they tend to do an awful lot of that! 😉
We started our session in the Public Garden near my favorite willow trees. Then we headed over to Beacon Hill to get some city-feel pictures. Katherine and Douglas love Starbucks and the little sweet treats they make, so we stopped in to warm up, get a snack, and do an outfit change. It was so fun to be able to capture them doing something that they enjoy. Then we headed back over to the Garden for some sunset pictures – probably my favorites of the whole session, so make sure you scroll all the way down. Oh – and we made a little friend along the way too. Go check him out. Enjoy!
