Dan was planning to propose to Colleen at the Boston Public Gardens one chilly evening.  But because it was freezing cold that night and Colleen just wanted to head home, he ended up improvising and proposed as they passed through The Common on the way back to their apartment.  She was then surprised with an engagement celebration with family and friends (something that Dan had set up ahead of time), including Colleen’s sister who flew in from D.C. !

So I met Colleen and Dan at the Public Gardens for the session (close enough to the proposal spot, right?!), and then we headed over to Beacon Hill where they used to live.  We had a blast together… laughing, dancing (them – not me!) and enjoying a beautiful fall day!  Here are some highlights of their session….
