Boston Seaport Engagement Session: Emily + Dave
This engagement session was a long time coming! I started talking with Emily and Dave last December about their engagement session. We were going to sneak it in before the holidays in downtown Boston, but it was a busy time of year and so cold. We kept on pushing it off through the winter and finally settled on a date and location once spring weather was finally here to stay. They wanted to do it in Boston because it holds a special place in their heart, but they were open to suggestions on which part of Boston to go. I do a LOT of sessions at the Boston Public Garden. It’s beautiful there for sure, but I was excited to do an engagement session in a different part of Boston. We settled on the Boston Seaport so we could have the cool backdrop of Boston that you see below.
Emily and Dave met sophomore year in high school. They were good friends then (and Emily had a huge crush on him… shh), but it wasn’t until they reconnected after college that they knew this was meant to be. They are best friends and have a blast no matter what they are doing. And I had a total blast with them at their session. They are both such kind, caring people and so much fun. We had a hazy day for their session but were still able to capture their love, joy and the beautiful backdrop of Boston and the waterfront. Here are a few of my favorites.
