Elegant House of the Seven Gables Salem MA Wedding: Amanda + Ryan

So excited to share this beautiful Salem MA wedding at the House of the Seven Gables! This historic property is right on the water with a cute little courtyard garden between the buildings. Honestly, I didn’t even know they held weddings there until Amanda and Ryan contacted me, and I’m so glad they did! I’ve had so much fun getting to know Ryan and Amanda throughout this process. They knew pretty quickly that this was meant to be, and it’s easy to see why even when they just look at each other. They are both hard working and motivated, value family, and love sports, travel and cooking. But I think one of the things that touched me the most was when Amanda said she knew that she and their future family would always be safe with Ryan. Heart melted.

I started the day with the girls getting ready at a hotel nearby. Amanda had the most beautiful, elegant little details and got dressed in a room with wall to wall windows (future brides take note of all the pretty natural light!) Then we headed to the House of the Seven Gables to get some outdoor portraits before the guys arrived. The girls all looked so beautiful, and you have to check out the unique, gorgeous wedding bouquets! Then we hid Amanda so we could take the guys’ formals before the ceremony too. After the ceremony overlooking the water we explored the property and gave Amanda and Ryan a little quiet time together. It was so fun to let them soak in the day a bit while laughing a ton! I just love some of the images we got, and they were so much fun to work with!

The tented reception was one of the most fun ever, and it allowed the guests to enjoy the beautiful June weather and the backdrop of the water, right outside the tent.
