Beauport Hotel Gloucester Wedding: Megan + Chaz

Their story began as college students at UMass, Amherst when they both found their way to the same bus stop after a night on the town with friends. They exchanged phone numbers and met up the very next night. The rest is history! Their relationship has taken them to many different places over the last 8 years, but it was after being long distance for a while that they quickly learned that they just loved each other too much to ever live apart again. Then one day Chaz took Megan to her childhood hometown of Scituate, Massachusetts and proposed at Scituate Lighthouse – a place near and dear to Megan’s heart. That’s actually where we did their engagement session too!

This sweet couple had a beautiful nautical wedding on the water at the beautiful Beauport Hotel. The elegant details and backdrop of the ocean for both the ceremony and reception tied into their vision beautifully. Their energy is palpable and their smiles are infectious; and quite honestly it’s impossible to not be happy when you are around them. There were so many fun moments that I will never forget from Megan’s veil flying off her head to the moment in the ceremony when she just HAD to kiss Chaz after she read her vows rather than wait until the end. 🙂 Here are a few highlights of their day!
