The Commons 1854 Wedding, Topsfield, MA: Tiffany + Jonathan
I was so lucky to spend so many time with Tiffany and Jonathan the week of their wedding! Since they live across the country we snuck in an engagement session earlier in the week (see previous post) and then had their wedding a few days later! They describe themselves as somewhat quiet and soft spoken, though as I discovered in their engagement session and all throughout their wedding day, they love to laugh and have a ton of fun together!
I started the day with the girls in the salon and then went back to the hotel to dress. Tiffany gifted her sisters and her mom some beautiful roses in European style boxes that last up to 3 years! Such a unique gift! After they were ready we headed to the Commons 1854 for the first look at wedding party photos. Their wedding was elegant and romantic with some pops of soft pink so The Commons provided the perfect backdrop for her vision. We even found some beautiful pink rose bushes which played into their color scheme perfectly. Their ceremony was in the garden with the backdrop of a pretty arbor and lots of flowers in bloom. After the ceremony we did some family pictures in front of the beautifully landscaped arch and then headed in to check out the reception set up. The reception was so much fun and full of laughs and dancing. Tiffany changed into a second dress during the reception to bring in some of the traditional Chinese wedding color, which symbolizes happiness, good fortune, and protection. With her red dress on, Tiffany and Jonathan went to every table at the wedding to toast to their new beginning.
Here are a few highlights of their very special day!
