Kathy and Dave tied the knot on a wet, foggy spring day on Cape Cod.  They both got ready in houses that they rented, and we had the most gorgeous light!  Kathy had a few extra special details that I loved seeing.  Kathy is a graphic designer and actually created her own invitation suite (among other details).  Also, in remembrance of her dad, she had her mom sew a heart inside her dress made out of one of her his old ties.

It rained most of the morning, but it stopped just in time for Kathy and Dave’s first look.  Kathy loves flowers, so I was excited to be able to set them up near a blooming Rhodendron bush to have some pretty color in the photos.   The colors were so vibrant.  After doing wedding party pictures, we went to the beach to try to get some pictures in their happy place.  The fog rolled in while we were there; and while it wasn’t quite what we were expecting for “beach pictures”, it was kind of magical.

After the ceremony we arrived at Willowbend and did a few more “officially married” pictures there.   I just love the glowy light we got!  Their reception was classic and elegant, just like the venue itself.  The reception tables were named for places that were special to Kathy and Dave.  See more of the details and all the fun moments below!
