Mooo…. Restaurant in the XV Beacon Hotel, Boston Wedding: Anne + Kevin

I kicked off my 2018 wedding season this past weekend with a beautiful wedding in the wine cellar at Mooo…. Restaurant in Boston. Anne and Kevin knew they wanted an intimate celebration with close family and friends and a delicious meal because that is how they grew up – celebrating with family and food. So Mooo…. located in the luxurious XV Beacon Hotel, was a perfect setting. I had so much fun celebrating with them. They pretty much grew up together so there is a natural comfort to their relationship that is warm and welcoming. They are funny and sweet and balance each other in so many ways. I knew I liked them from our first conversation, but that feeling grew when I read their answers to some of the questions I typically send my couples to get to know them better. Their answers were full of humor, which included their favorite book listed as “The Wedding Experience, A Guide for Michele Conde Couples” by Michele Conde. 🙂

Anne and Kevin’s wedding day was a chilly day but a beautiful one. We started getting ready in the light filled rooms of the XV Beacon Hotel. Anne is a planner and her attention to detail was amazing. She even got a special wax seal to secure her invitations. Her dress had the most unique, beautiful details; and I am obsessed with the shoes she wore! After Anne was dressed, I made my way to Kevin’s room for a few shots of him getting ready. Don’t even get me started on his style – you have to check out his amazing, custom-made suit!

The snow stopped in the morning and gave way to beautiful sunny skies in time for Anne and Kevin’s first look on the rooftop terrace and our walk around Beacon Hill. It’s such a pretty area! After our walk we returned for the ceremony and reception which both took place in the cozy wine cellar at Mooo. There is so much character down there! The couple celebrated with a delicious meal, some celebratory toasts and a cake cutting. Here are some highlights of their day!
