Elegant Black and White Cape Cod Wedding: Jenna +Mark

Jenna and Mark had a gorgeous day on the Cape for their elegant coastal black and white wedding! I met Jenna at a house on the water that her family had rented to celebrate. When I got there she told me how the beautiful pink flowers she had planned to have needed to be switched out last minute to white ones due to a shipping mishap. What I loved about her telling me the story is how totally calm she was. After all, they were only flowers and she was still marrying the man of her dreams that day; and that’s really what mattered to her. It was a nice reminder that although we can get caught up in beautiful details (because, let’s face it – they are super fun to obsess over) it’s so important to remember the real meaning of a wedding day. Having said that, you have got to check out Jenna’s totally beautiful dress (among other things)! It was made of thick French lace that was SO gorgeous and unique! After she got dressed, she did a quick first look with her dad; and then she got to spend some time with her soon to be husband, Mark.
